Revision of Bluebooking Process for GPS Projects

NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS) is revising the "Bluebooking" adjustment process for GPS projects. The changes are necessary due to additional requirements related to the newly released NAD 83(2011/PA11/MA11) epoch 2010.00 realizations.
The changes include:
  1. computation of horizontal and vertical project error scale factors
  2. use of variable weights on constrained stations
  3. determination of network and local accuracies.
The ADJUST guidelines document will reflect the new requirements. NGS requests users wait until the revision is complete and the guidelines updated before submitting any new GPS projects. Once this is accomplished a notice will be posted.
