The title may include the submitting agency's name, the type of survey and year of the project, but should specify the area in which the survey was done. *ABBREV_AGENCY,A Enter the approved abbreviation of the name of the agency submitting the proect to NGS. Refer to Annex C (FGCC 1989). If the agency is not listed in the annex, use the abbreviation or the acronym most commonly used to refer to the agency. For example, NGS indicates that the submitting agency is the National Geodetic Survey. *NAME_OF_AGENCY,A Enter the full name of the submitting agency, comparable to the abbreviated name. Refer to the Annex C (FGCC 1989). If the agency is not listed in the annex, use the actual name of the agency. *START_DATE,A FORMAT: (CCYYMM). Enter the year and month of the first observation, without spaces, in the specified format. For example, "198404" indicates that the date of the first observation was april 1984. *END_DATE,A FORMAT: (CCYYMM). Enter the year and month of the last observation, without spaces, in the specified format. For example, "198407" indicaties that the date of the last observation was july 1984. *CHIEF_OF_PARTY,A Enter the name of the person in charge of the field party doing the observation. *COP_INITIALS,A Enter the initials of the chief of party. *TYPE_OF_SURVEY,A Enter a one-digit code used to specify the survey method used. Press to display a list of the different types of survey methods. *STATE_COUNTRY,A Enter the state or country code, which can be found in Annex A (FGCC 1989), of the state or country in which the majority of the survey was observed. The codes used are standard two character Postal Service Codes. *ORDER_CLASS,A Enter the order and class which reflect the accuracy requirements specified in the project instructions. This is a four-digit number in the range of 0001 to 9999, used to uniquely identify every survey point which appears in an GPS OBS data set. *UID,A Unique Sation ID. This is a four character abbreviation of a station name. *SORT,A Enter the fashion in which you like your sort compiled by. Press for a choice list. *STAT_NAME,A Enter a 30 character alphanumeric identifier of a horizontal control point. *LATITUDE,A The length of the arc, on an ellipsoid representing the earth and in a plane through the polar axis, between the equatorial plane and a specified point of the ellipsoid. You must enter the leading zero. Do not enter in the decimal. *LAT_CODE,A The direction of latitude. Must be specified as "N" or "S". Press for a choice list. *LONGITUDE,A A coordinat indicating distance, linear or angular, from a north-south line used as reference. You must enter in the leading zero. Do not enter in the decimal *LONG_CODE,A The direction of longitude. Must be specified as "E" or "W". Press for a choice list. *ELEVATION,A The vertical distance above the geoid - anequipotential surface. *ELEV_CODE,A The source and general accuracy of the elevation value. Press for a choice list. *STAT_TYPE,A A two - digit code used to characterize the type of survey scheme of which the horizontal control point is a part and/or by means of which it is positioned. It also indicates whether the horizontal control point in question is considered to be a main-scheme station or a supplemental station in the respective survey scheme.
