*FORM_QUIT,A
Press to Exit this form.  If pressed before the SAVE button
is pressed the information on the form will not be saved.

*NEW_FILE,A
FORMAT: (XXXXXXXX.XX).  Enter in the name of the new B-File
to be created.

*RETRV_FILE,A
FORMAT: (XXXXXXXX.XX).  Enter in the name of the B-File
you want to retrieve information from.

*SAVE_FILE,A
FORMAT: (XXXXXXXX.XX).  Enter in the name you would like
to save the B-File as.

*CREATION_DATE,A
The format for the creation date is CCYYMMDD.  This is the
date you started this B-File.

*JOB_CODE,A
This is a two-character alphanumeric code assigned to each
horizontal control job submitted by an organization. The 
first letter of this code must be a letter.

*PROJECT_TITLE,A
Enter a title as fully as possible within the 70 character
limit for this project.  The title may include the submitting
agency's name, the type of survey and year of the project, 
but should specify the area in which the survey was done. 

*ABBREV_AGENCY,A
Enter the approved abbreviation of the name of the agency 
submitting the proect to NGS.  Refer to Annex C (FGCC 1989).  
If the agency is not listed in the annex, use the abbreviation
or the acronym most commonly used to refer to the agency.  For
example, NGS indicates that the submitting agency is the 
National Geodetic Survey.

*NAME_OF_AGENCY,A
Enter the full name of the submitting agency, comparable to the 
abbreviated name.  Refer to the Annex C (FGCC 1989).  If the 
agency is not listed in the annex, use the actual name of the
agency.

*START_DATE,A
FORMAT: (CCYYMM).  Enter the year and month of the first 
observation, without spaces, in the specified format.  For 
example, "198404" indicates that the date of the first
observation was april 1984.
                             
*END_DATE,A
FORMAT: (CCYYMM).  Enter the year and month of the last
observation, without spaces, in the specified format.  For
example, "198407" indicaties that the date of the last
observation was july 1984.

*CHIEF_OF_PARTY,A
Enter the name of the person in charge of the field party 
doing the observation.

*COP_INITIALS,A
Enter the initials of the chief of party.

*TYPE_OF_SURVEY,A
Enter a one-digit code used to specify the survey method used. 
Press <F2> to display a list of the different types of 
survey methods.

*STATE_COUNTRY,A
Enter the state or country code, which can be found in 
Annex A (FGCC 1989), of the state or country in which the
majority of the survey was observed.  The codes used are
standard two character Postal Service Codes.

*ORDER_CLASS,A
Enter the order and class which reflect the accuracy 
requirements specified in the project instructions.
Press <F2> key to display a list of the valid codes.

*DATUM_NAME,A
A set of quantites, developed by the U.S. Department of
Defense for determining geometric and physical geodetic 
relationships on a global scale.  Press <F2> for a 
choice list.

*SAVE,A
Press to save the current information enterd on the form.
Once you save the information a message will appear in the
window at the bottom of the screen instructing you to 
press any key to continue, this will allow you to return
to the form and make any corrections if necessasry.

*SSN,A
This is the station serial number.  This is a four-digit
number in the range of 0001 to 9999, used to uniquely 
identify every survey point which appears in an GPS OBS 
data set.

*UID,A
Unique Sation ID.  This is a four character abbreviation
of a station name.

*SORT,A
Enter the fashion in which you like your sort compiled by.
Press <F2> for a choice list.

*STAT_NAME,A
Enter a 30 character alphanumeric identifier of a horizontal
control point.

*LATITUDE,A
The length of the arc, on an ellipsoid representing the earth
and in a plane through the polar axis, between the equatorial
plane and a specified point of the ellipsoid.  You must enter 
the leading zero.  Do not enter in the decimal.

*LAT_CODE,A
The direction of latitude.  Must be specified as "N" or "S".
Press <F2> for a choice list.

*LONGITUDE,A
A coordinat indicating distance, linear or angular, from a
north-south line used as reference.  You must enter in the  
leading zero.  Do not enter in the decimal

*LONG_CODE,A
The direction of longitude.  Must be specified as "E" or "W".
Press <F2> for a choice list.

*ELEVATION,A
The vertical distance above the geoid - anequipotential surface.

*ELEV_CODE,A
The source and general accuracy of the elevation value.  Press
<F2> for a choice list.

*STAT_TYPE,A
A two - digit code used to characterize the type of survey 
scheme of which the horizontal control point is a part and/or
by means of which it is positioned.  It also indicates 
whether the horizontal control point in question is considered 
to be a main-scheme station or a supplemental station in the
respective survey scheme.  Press <F2> for a choice list.

*FIX_STAT,A
Press <SPACE BAR> to activate.  Use this when you want to 
identify previously established horizontal control points 
contained in the NGS Data Base, from which and/or to which
horizontal control was extended in the project.  

*STAT_ORDER,A
A two-digit code used to characterize the specific order of 
accuracy of th horiontal control point and to indicate whether 
the horizontal control point in question is monumented, 
unmonumented but recoverable, or unmonumented and non-recoverable.
Press <F2> for a choice list.

*DATE,A
FORMAT: (YYMMDD).  Enter the date this station observation 
was observed.

*ACTUAL_START,A
Enter in the UTC time this observation started.

*ACTUAL_STOP,A
Enter in the UTC time this observation ended.

*OBS_SESSION,A
The letter or number of the session observed.

*EQUIP_CODE,A
Used to identify the instrument which was assigned the JSIN. 
Press <F2> for a choice list.

*ANTENNA_HGT,A
FORMAT: (XX.xxx) in meters.  The height of the antenna phase 
center above the monument. 

*LENGTH_OF_CABLE,A
FORMAT: (XX) in meters.  Length of the cable used to connect 
the receiver and antenna.

*OBS_INITIALS,A
Initials of the observer.

*WEATHER_INFO,A
Press the <SPACE BAR> to mark this field and enter wheather 
information.

*COMMENTS,A
Any comment you want to make about the observation.

*JSIN,A
Used to identify the instrument on the respective observation
record in a concise manner. A unique three-digit number in the 
of 001 to 999 is to be assigned to each item of survey 
equipment used in the job.  Press <F2> for a choice list.

*INST_MANUFACTURE,A
The maker of the instrument being used.

*INST_TRADE_NAME,A
The name of the instrument being used.

*INST_MODEL,A
Alphanumeric code, used to identify the particular style of 
instrument.

*INST_SERIAL#,A
Serial number of the instrument being used.  Alphanumeric.
Leave blank if not known.

*DMI,A
Enter the character code which identifies the reciever 
Manufacturer.  Press <F2> for a choice list.
