A World File is a file that stores the information necessary
to properly place, size and orient an image within a GIS system.

For Mosaic images there is a world file for the full sized image
AND a world file for the the thumbnail image.

Since world files are very small, when you download a world file
you may actually be downloaded a .ZIP file for that day's images or
for all available images.
