Dr. Pe’eri's previous positions at NOAA included Branch Chief of the Chart Standards Group and Chief of the Cartographic Support Branch within the OCS' Marine Chart Division. Prior to joining NOAA in 2016, Dr. Pe’eri worked for more than eleven years as research faculty at the University of New Hampshire. During his time as an Associate Research Professor, Dr. Pe'eri worked closely with NGS' Remote Sensing Division and was physically based at NOAA's NGS.
Over the course of his 28 year career as a NOAA Corps Officer, Brad supported NGS through numerous assignments conducting geodetic surveys, coordinating and managing remote sensing projects, overseeing aircraft operations and research, and managing NGS' aeronautical survey program.
As Commanding Officer of NOAA Aircraft Operations Center and Director of NOAA Corps Commissioned Personnel, Brad led and managed a diverse workforce, and, in his role as NOAA Legislative Specialist, he communicated with Congress on matters of interest to NOAA.
