NGS Co-Hosted GeoTech 2009 Conference to Explore Geospatial Infrastructure

NOAA’s National Geodetic Survey (NGS) co-hosted GeoTech, the Premiere Mid-Atlantic Imagery and Geospatial Conference, in conjunction with the Potomac Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The conference helped keep NOAA and other government agencies informed on remote sensing technologies and techniques and allowed attendees to learn from geospatial information experts in the fields of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), bathymetric mapping, synthetic aperture radar, and 2-D and 3-D data collection.
