NGS Assists NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Small Business Innovation Research

NGS provided oversight to assist NESDIS in installing Coastal Eyes multi-sensor equipment as part of NESDIS's Small Business Innovation Research. The equipment was installed and tested on NOAA's Twin Otter aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Coastal Eyes uses mature technologies in an innovative configuration to measure land topography, surface water height and surface currents, produce inundation maps, and detect marine debris.
