NGS Collects Airborne Imagery in Response to Hurricane Earl

NOAA's National Geodetic Survey collected airborne imagery on September 3 in response to Hurricane Earl hitting the North Carolina coast. Imagery has been processed and is available at: http://ngs.woc.noaa.gov/storms/earl/index1.html.  Photos such as these provide a snapshot of any physical damage to structures, as well as potential changes to the natural shoreline and coastal areas.
