ForeSee Results of Ann Arbor, Michigan, formally recognized the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for exceptional website customer satisfaction results. ForeSee Results uses the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) methodology to measure customer satisfaction. Foresee Results reported that the NGS website scored the highest yearly satisfaction score increase of any government website tracking its performance in this way to improve its products and services. The ACSI, developed by the National Quality Research Center at the University of Michigan, is the only cross-industry national indicator linking customer satisfaction to financial returns, and it is the only such measure accepted by the U.S. government.
