National Geodetic Survey Provides Updates at Canadian Geodetic Survey Meetings

The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) contributed to Canada's Geodetic Survey meetings this week in support of harmonious standards for mapping across North America. NGS presented an update on its National Spatial Reference System during Canada's annual geodetic convocation, held in Ottawa, Canada, May 28-30. NGS enjoys membership on its counterpart Canadian organization's committee, the Canadian Geodetic Reference Committee, which plans and coordinates maintenance and improvement of the Canadian Geodetic Reference system.
