NGS Representative Co-presents at Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-level Data Working Group

Alongside the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a representative from NOAA's National Geodetic Survey co-presented a session titled Datums: the Necessary Foundation for Hurricanes and Flooding Response at the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-level Data Working Group meeting on April 4. The program was part of a larger agenda of presentations held at NOAA in Silver Spring to focus on hurricane and flooding response and to facilitate further discussion on the identification, acquisition, and use of common homeland geospatial infrastructure data and applications.
