NOAA Hosts Stakeholder Forum on Geodetic Models and Tools (NGS)

An interactive review of NOAA's National Geodetic Survey's (NGS) products and services took place May 19 and 20 during a two-day stakeholder forum in Silver Spring. The focus was the future of NGS geodetic models and tools and incorporation of user feedback. This event brought together a wide variety of public stakeholders and NGS personnel, including State Geodetic Advisors and field scientists. Specific topics included Continuously Operating Reference Stations, the Online Positioning User Service, coastal mapping, and aeronautical surveys. For more information, contact Juliana Blackwell.
