NGS Hosts NSRS Modernization Update Webinar

NGS's National Spatial Reference System Modernization Manager presented a webinar on the NGS 2022 datum modernization efforts to nearly 1,000 industry professionals. The webinar focused on why this change is happening and how the modernization effort will affect surveying and construction workflows. Topics included why the modernization is occurring; how datums, geoids, and transformations will be impacted by the modernization efforts; what tools NGS is developing and modifying for the modernization; and a status update on the progress of the modernization effort. The webinar and questions answered from attendees are available online for other interested parties.
