NGS Participates in U.S.-Canada Talks on Global Navigation Systems

NGS Chief Geodesist Dan Roman represented NOAA during U.S.-Canada Global Navigation Satellite System bilateral discussions. He provided updates on the status of the National Spatial Reference System Modernization Plan and discussed collaborative opportunities with Canadian counterparts. These discussions are essential to ensuring that the United States and Canada have interoperable and compatible reference frames for positioning and navigation in science, engineering, and commercial applications.
